Rain can be a havoc at times spoiling your plans,thoughts making you irritated as it just won't stop!!!Especially when it rains in the day you are lucky to be part of endless traffic jams, on a two wheeler you ride then you simply stand near the entrance of a shop all day! So this poem tries to put the frustration due to rain….hope all can relate!
How happy I was when I knew it was a holiday!
But the stupid rain came,all my plans had to stay
So when the rain gave me a tiny small break
I rushed to the roads, holding the scooty's brake!!
As the roads were already jammed because of the guest!
Then I just entered the shop which I guess was best!
Else I would be drained as the rain had poured!
And for the past one hour my soul has roared!
Just wishing for some supernatural powers
To stop this horrible rains for some hours!
As it is breaking my patience in all possible ways!
Every minute I look at the sky hoping for sunrays!
My legs are tired of standing for so long too!
And there is a sudden urge to go to the loo!!
But the rain is adamant on torturing me!
I really can't get sick! Don't you see?
I haven't got any free day that I can use
All will just assume my time I only misuse!
But am sensitive and catch a cold quick!
But the rain is slowly pouring making me sick!
I can't wait here forever nor go on riding!
As you can see all am doing now is simply typing!
Hoping atleast my frustration goes away
Even if am not able to reach home or find a way!
Give me an umbrella to embrace the rain
So that it won't trouble or cause me pain
Yet the rain didn't have any mercy whatsoever!
It was as if it wanted to pour and pour forever!
At last in defeat I ride in the watery roads
As I blinked trying for the signals and boards
As the rain was aiming for my dear eyes
When did the rain become so cunning and wise!
Drenched from head to toes and shivering!
I entered my home with the company of sneezing!
