Real name Babubhai Patel, Babu Bajrangi was the leader of Gujarat wing Bajrang dal. He was sentenced to life term imprisonment in Nroda Patiya massacre case of 2002 Gujarat violence in 2012 by a special court.
Nroda Patiya massacre went on for 10 hours in which 36 women, 26 men and 35 children were murdered. This riot was allegedly supported by the then governing party of Gujarat Bhartiya Janta Party.
In 2007 when out on bail, Babu Bajrangi's clip of talking about his hand in Gujarat riots was released by Indian journal Tehelka.

“We didn't spare a single Muslim shop, we set everything on fire … we hacked, burned, set on fire … we believe in setting them on fire because these bastards don't want to be cremated, they're afraid of it … I have just one last wish … let me be sentenced to death … I don't care if I'm hanged ... just give me two days before my hanging and I will go and have a field day in Juhapura where seven or eight lakhs [seven or eight hundred thousand] of these people stay ... He was also seen and heard talking about how Narendra Modi got two of the judges who wanted to give him death sentence were replaced with third one who bailed him without even looking at the file.
"The first judge who came and said, "Bajrangi should be hanged not once but four or five time" and he threw away the file. The next judge said the same that I should be hanged. With the third one, over four months later, brother Narendra send me a message saying he'd set something up. The third judge didn't even look at the file, he just said,"let him go.""
After being convicted for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2012, Bajrangi has been out on bail several times. From 2014 to 2016 he was temporarily bailed 14 times cause of his wife's bad health.
In 2019 he was granted bail by supreme court when Gujarat government claimed that Bajrangi has allegedly suffered complete vision loss and was in bad health condition.
Bajrangi's bail says a lot about justice system in India. Screams, pain and blood of many innocents mean nothing in front his partial vision and hearing loss.
According a 'the Wire' report Bajrangi boasted about how he slit open a pregnant woman, pulled the foetus out of her belly and impaled it on a trishul, said he felt like Maharana Pratap after that.
These heinous crimes against humanity, massacre of innocents and connection of Mr. Modi with all this clarifies the sort of hands we put our country into.

What would a person with history in massacre of so many innocents would do if given a chance.
