Namaste folks! I hope you all are doing amazingly good and I am back with another blog related to a function or activity in which most of us fail. "CONSISTENT" 9 letters and 1 word but holds great significance.
Discipline, Punctuality, and Consistency are some of the words that are easy and likeable to listen but when it comes applying these terms practically into our lives, most of the human beings find it hard or they just break the cycle in between. Let me tell you that just now I wrote a blog of 292 words and all my work went in vain due to the power cut. So now should I just stop writing further? No that's not how things work. Instead, I am typing all again because maybe that post was not meant to be written or seen. I personally think that what happens, happens for good because if it wouldn't have had happen, then you might be onto something that does not deserve you, also, please note here I am not talking about crimes, unethical and inhuman things that takes place.
Now again jumping onto our main topic for today that is consistency. Any sane and rational person might ask that, we do know what consistency mean, but how do you maintain it? Well first who does not know what consistency mean it basically means stability or regularity, to put it in simple words, it means when you keep doing that same good habit that you want to adopt over and over again till you become expert in it. For e.g., I never brushed twice a day earlier but after noticing the bad health of my teeth I began doing it. It was tough for me to do that daily and to even remember that I must brush because I have a bad habit of forgetting, despite of this shortcoming I did it daily. Not to mention I set up reminders in my phone and kept on doing it, it's been 4 or 5 months fairly as far as I remember and now, I never skip my brushing routine. If you are willing to change something good within yourselves, be regular with it. Practise it daily. If you have a bad habit like forgetting, procrastinating or delaying then simply make anybody else in charge of your progress like your best friend, your parents, your siblings or even your favourite cousin. Just remember they shouldn’t take side of you ,as it might end up distracting you and you’ll simply wrap up that good stuff that you wanted so bad in your life.
So, in this little personal example of mine I explained both the things that is, what is consistency? And how do you maintain it?
Remember folks if you have to adopt something good in you, you’ll have to be very patient with yourself and not to mention that be brutally honest with yourselves. If you are not honest with yourself, you can't achieve anything you want in life. Because without being honest you can't examine yourself, you'll always end up taking favours for yourself or giving stupid excuses. So, to really bring a positive change in yourself and your life it is required that one should be honest with oneself.
