In the year 1957 Doctor Warwick was carrying out an experiment on the European bees in order to increase their honey producing ability. In order to increase their productivity the DNA of European honey bees were altered by forcing them to mate with the African honey bees. This experiment was performed in a laboratory and the bees involved in this experiment had built their hives inside a container.  At first this experiment seemed to be a complete success and Doctor Warwick termed the new species of bees as the “ Africanised bees”. But slowly he noticed that the modified bees started turning violent and aggressive. They started behaving so violently and aggressively that it seemed once they were let out of container they will not spare anyone.  Considering their violent nature Dr Warwick decided not to let them free in any circumstances. But unfortunately due to negligence of the lab worker a big colony of bees escaped from the container and this incident happened in Brazil's Rio Claro.

Once the Africanised bees were out their violent became more evident. They created havoc once they were out and aggressively attacked people and  killed more than thousand people. They started growing rapidly by making theirs own bee hives and it seemed impossible to tame these bees. Their colonies were not only limited to Brazil but also spread across America.  Due to their deadly nature they were also termed as killer bees. As compared to the normal bees they were more black and dangerous. Normal bees attack human beings only if we try to disturb their hives but these “killer” bees attacked anyone within five hundred metre of their hives. Bees do not attack humans while they are doing their work of collecting pollens from the flowers.

But whether it is a normal bee or genetically modified bees like the Africanised bees, they die soon after they Sting any human. The sting of a bee resembles a dagger with small teeth whose direction is in upwards. And when they Sting any human or animal those teeth gets stuck like a hook on the skin of the victim and this makes difficult for the attacker bees to remove their sting. In order to remove their sting Bees applies force , but instead of the sting getting out of skin of victim it gets detached from the bees body along with their muscles, nerves and parts of their digestive system resulting in their death.
