Soothing Summer

Nature loves to beautify herself with the glee and glamour of different seasons. Sometimes, she covers herself with the thick white blanket of winter,designed perfectly with dew drops. Sometimes, she blooms her each petal along with the patterning of the soft rain. Sometimes, she sheds off the dead old form only to come out as the paragon of a fresh rejuvenation. However, we,Indians love all the colours and moulds of nature except that volcanic vivacious fiery form of nature. Yes,I am talking about summer. Being in the tropical country,summer signifies to us only scorching sun and the unwanted tans on the skin. But Mother Nature is always abundant in giving  us her soulful blessings through each and every season. Today, I am going to discuss about some benifits of the season summer.

             Our body gets a great exposure to Vitamin D during this season. We know that sun ray is the natural source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is very crucial in building the immunity power of our body. So it is better to remain under the sun for some time in the early morning to grab the greatest opportunity of consuming Vitamin D directly.  

          Summer helps in the process of body detoxification. Sweating is very natural in this season. Even a little physical activity leaders to a great amount of sweating. And this sweating is the key component of body detoxification.  

          Summer increases our intake of water. Water is vital for our proper digestion of foods. Besides this,it imparts vitality to the skin and helps to wash out all the toxins from the body.

            Sunlight boosts up our energy and summer is a great time to begin any fitness programme that includes physical exercises. Physical exercise motivates our body to supply proper oxygen to the brain and thus encourages us to lead a healthy lifestyle.  

             Summer carbs our craving for food. So we don't lean on the junk foods and extra meals. We tend to have some juicy fruits like strawberries, pineapple and green vegetables. This intake of fruits and vegetables in a larger scale contributes in weight management.

          Most importantly, a research has shown that men used to have lower chance of heart attack than winter. Summer allows us to go outside to get the fresh air from Nature. No doubt this season throws us the scope of trying shorts and summer friendly attire. So,keep away your deceived notion of summer being a devil. Summer has an overall impact in keeping our body and mind hydrated. Nature is therapeutic in all its forms.
