Covid 19 is grasping our country in a more dangerous way day by day. Many people are getting infected everyday. Some may escape the wrath of death,but what is becoming fatal is the post covid effects. The patients recovering from this Covid, complain frequently about the post covid syndrome. The quite evident among post covid effects is fatigue or loss of energy. It takes a long time to be in the same rhythm as before. Today I am going to discuss about how to regain energy after recovering from Covid 19.
Go for a little physical activity- Physical activity is very important for regaining energy. It helps to improve muscle strength. But you must remember that your body has gone through a disease. So,give your body enough time for healing. Don't go for strenuous physical exercises. You better start with breathing exercises twice per day. Do engage your body with regular activities like cleaning your own room,or watering your plants. But don't overstress your body. Along with this,you may go for yoga or stretching. You may go for the short walk also. Try to engage the muscles of legs and thigh as these muscles used to be badly effected by this disease.
Take enough rest- Try to take proper rest in between your activity. Don't compare yourself with others. Don't disturb sleep order due to over thinking .The battle you have fought and won is most important. So motivate yourself to rely on your slow progress. It will take time and will be better gradually.
Maintain protein rich diet- Proteins and minerals are essential for rebuilding the muscle strength and boosting up the immune system. So try to include green vegetables and fruits in your diet. Citrus fruits like lemon,orange are rich source of Vitamin C which is beneficial for the formation of antibodies thereby cheer up the energy level of the body. Next is the beans which is full of zinc. Zinc helps your body to fight against the toxins. Thus it helps in regaining your energy. You must eat atleast one egg on a daily basis. Eggs are rich in protein and contain amino acid that is helpful to protect your body against pathogens. Dry fruits like dates,almonds, cashews, raisins are rich source of Vitamin E and works as an antioxidant. Even our Indian spices are benign to rejuvenate our energy level. For example, try to use ginger often in your cooking because ginger helps to clear out the toxins from the respiratory tract.
Hydrate your body- Keep hydrating your body. When your body fights against a virus,it remains deprived of enough fluid. Therefore, it is very important to hydrate your body to bring back the energy level of your body. Besides this, drinking water helps your body to wash out the toxins. So,consume fluid as much as you can. Seven to eight glasses of water is recommended per day.
Stay positive- Positive energy of your mind is no doubt imperative for gaining an energetic healthy body. Keep yourself away from any kind of stress. Star your day with meditation. Be grateful that you have already won a battle that many people have lost. Give thanks to God for such beautiful life and have firm belief that your body will be in perfect algorithm soon.
