Hello all, I am here with a travel blog which I have been to Pichavaram long back ago. It was a wonderful experience to chill out with friends. The weather was nice there to relax and make ourselves calm. The sizzling clouds were hidden behind the thick mangrove forest. So it is a mangrove area which we can experience by going through the branches in boating.
It was a bit creepy while travelling in the boat. We were given a life jacket to wear. It is mandatory because safety should be given preference then only we can enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Though the scorching sun was heavy outside it was shady and cool inside the forest. The beaches were covered in an arch-shaped as if it is welcoming us into a paradise. The way was nice and we can't see waves in the water. But the water tastes like seawater. Why does it taste as it means, because it is the brim where the river and sea water meet so it tastes salty. It was a bit dark because of the thick branches and we should be careful because sometimes we may hit our heads and face with those sticks erected from branches. But the water was not deep that much it was only 4metres deep but we can't land ourselves in the water because the mud may devour us. The land was not too concrete under the water and it has mud puddles. It was not rigid we may get submerged in the mud. So placing ourselves in the boat with a lifejacket is the best way to enjoy the sight. It was quite amazing to see that trees were rooted among the waters and we had a path there to go and explore inside the forest but the path was damaged it looks tricky. Unfortunately, we can't go to that spot. Many films were shooted in this place. It was such a treat for our eyes and we can find tranquillity in the place. We may feel moist because of the salt present in the water and the leaf which tickles us while mooring may have the salt content present in it. The guide told us we licked the leaf it will be salty because the roots expelled the salt through the leaves. So humidity in the air is thick. We can only go by boat and we can't just swim or walk there as I said before we will get sunken. So don't risk yourself while going. It would be an appropriate place to enjoy with family and friends. Thank you.
