On 2/8/2021 at 8:00 pm, I went to my aunt's house and stayed there for a night. After browsing through different OTT platforms, as there were no new feel-good movies, my cousins and I decided to watch the “Jab we met ” movie. Must admit Kareena Kapoor Khan mesmerizes us with her acting and Shahid Kapoor was the cutest in this movie. We watched the movie while having our dinner.

It was around 11:00 pm when we finished watching the movie. Then one of my friends has messaged me to discuss her conflict and we talked for a while. Till then my cousins and my aunt were asleep. My aunt and one of my cousins slept in one bedroom, and the other cousin and I are supposed to sleep in another bedroom. It was 11:50 pm when I started feeling drowsy and my eyelids were falling off, so I said good night to my friend, turned off the computer switch and the lights in the hall, and went to bed.

I don't know the exact time but it was late in the night maybe around 2:00 am/3:00 am when I heard a man knocking on the main door vigorously (Dabb Dabb Dabbbb………Dabb Dabb Dabbb…….). I got worried and went to wake my aunt who was in another bedroom to check who was knocking on the door. Even my aunt got tensed and came out to check who was that person, one of my cousins also got up and turned on the light. My aunt peeped through the window which is beside the main door and said “No one is there”. I said to my aunt that maybe it was in my dream and again went back to bed. My cousin turned off the light and they also went back to bed.

After few minutes I woke up again and started thinking whether whatever happened a few minutes back was a dream or real? I was in full of a dilemma about what was happening to me. If I wake them up now to ask whether I woke you guys up a few minutes ago, it would be the second time disturbing their sleep, so I decided to ask regarding all this in the morning and went back to sleep after a few minutes.

I woke up at 7:00 am and asked my cousin whether did I really woke them at midnight. She started laughing and said, “yes, you did that”. I felt really sorry for disturbing their sleep in the middle of the night. But till now I can't figure out why did I do all this. I can't figure out who was that person. 

I laughed at myself and came back to my house and narrated everything to my parents. Lol, how idiot I was. My subconscious mind has played a good game with me. The weirdest thing was to figure out whether I really woke my aunt up saying someone was knocking on the door or It was also a part of the dream.
