Hello, friends welcome back to my other blog. Tea is an integral part of our but how many of us know their types so will we discuss different types of teas in the country

Assam Tea We will begin our journey with Assam Tea which is also the biggest tea-producing state in the country. Every year the state produces 500 million Kg of tea. Here the leaves underwent an oxidizing or fermentation process. The type of tea is English breakfast tea or Irani breakfast tea 

Nilgiri Tea Grown in Nilgiri hills is located in the state of Tamil Nadu with a mellow taste and natural sweetness. These tea leaves are used to the make best flavor of Ice tea. Such type of tea is usually grown at the time of monsoon and its rich amount of flavonoids help to improve the flow of blood in the body 

Darjeeling Tea Grown in the beautiful mountains of the Himalayas these types of tea are usually grown during the winter season. The tea leaves are usually processed as black tea. The harvesting season for this tea lies between March and November and the Darjeeling tea is also known for its health benefits 

Masala Chai A Cup of masala chai serves a variety of nutrients and health benefits. Often Tulsi is blended with Elaichi which is also good for digestion. Loose tea leaves are thrown in the mixture of milk and water including ginger in a small amount 

Noon Chai Also known as Kashmiri tea or pink tea believe to be originated in the Kashmir valley of India prepared with milk, water, and salt instead of sugar. traditionally this tea is served in a brass utensil people love to drink this during the time of winter also proves helpful for improving digestion and stress-reducing properties 

Green Tea  A type of tea that has a number of health benefits and can be drunk every season to prepare these tea plants are harvested is grown in a warm climate and in colors like green, yellow, and light brown but depend on the method of processing and cultivation

Butter Tea  This type of Himalayas also known as po cha drunk in areas where the air is cold and thin. Traditionally prepared with the milk of yak and to prepare this tea leaves in boiled water until it achieved a dark brown color than yak milk and salt are added and the tea is served hot in a jar
