Hello friends. Welcome back to a new blog of mine, first of all, a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi as we all know the festival is also known as Ganesh Festival as the name tells this is a festival dadicated to Lord Ganesh. the start of the celebration is marked by the installation of Ganesh and decorating pandals

The festival is hugely popular in places like Mumbai where more than a lakhs statues are immersed every year with a belief that their Lord will return soon next year the festival also marks a new beginning and the removal of obstacles from our life. During the 11-day festival, pandals are decorated beautifully in parts of our country like Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu people participate in this celebration with great enthusiasm they bring statues to welcome their lord in a grand style with dance, drums, and music all around all of this is a unique way of welcoming their lord.

The celebration starts with Ganpati sthaphana means installing the statue in the temple of your home 

During their 11 days, celebration rituals song(Aarti) is sung every morning and evening and an offering (bhog) is offered especially modak which is considered one of the favorites of the lord it is the presence of the lord marks a positive atmosphere all around and there is also a ritual of fasting on Ganesh Chaturthi which is also a way of pleasing their idol.

Problem and Herta is referred to as one who solves everyone’s problem as looking towards the importance of this festival the role of statue artist also play a significant role as they provide a large variety of statues that only present our lord in a beautiful manner but it also shows how talented and passioned these artists are but this is not easy for them they start their preparation even months before the festival.

It is the Ganesh Chaturthi that sets the tone for the festive season in our country whether its Navaratri, id, or the biggest festival of our culture Diwali and its time for Ganesh Visarjan which is an activity of immersing the lord in water and while doing this activity devotees pray to their idol come back early next year.
