Hi everyone I welcome all the readers to my first blog. Here I will discuss with you some Vitamin C rich super foods that will not only boost your immunity but also help to manage your stress levels and anxiety.

  1. ORANGES

Oranges are a great source of Vitamin C. They are helpful in improving immunity and also manage blood sugar levels. Also oranges lower stress levels in body. So don't forget to include them in your next fruit bowl. 

2. BLUEBERRY 

Do not under estimate the small size of these amazing berries. Blueberry is great source of Vitamin C and also high in antioxidants. One of the best ways to consume them is in your morning smoothies. Just freez them overnight and mix with milk, curd, honey. Garnish with some almonds and raisins and enjoy. 

3. EGGS 

Eggs are an abundance of health benefits and are known as NATURE'S MULTIVITAMINS . They are rich in Vitamin D, minerals and amino acids. So do include them in your diet. Eggs  make up a  variety of breakfast options which are easy and quick to cook. 

4. NUTS 

Nothing is more yummy and delicious than nuts. They are high in nutrients, omega 3 fatty acids , magnesium and minerals. Do include a handful of nuts like almonds, pistachios, cashews, raisins in your diet. Just soak them in water overnight and consume in the morning. Apart from these you can also include seeds like pumpkin, sunflower etc. They are also a great source of nutrition.

5. SPINACH 

One thing we all have been hearing from our mom's since childhood “Donot forget your greens”. Spinach is a great source of Calcium, vitamins, magnesium, antioxidants. Also it is low in carbs. So those who are on a weight loss plan can still consume it without any guilt. 

6. AVOCADOS 

Avocados are high in potassium and vitamin B. Vitamin B is directly linked with managing brain cells health which is linked to reducing stress levels. They are not consumed often. Best way to eat them is to mash them up into a paste. Apply it on a toast. Sprinkle some salt & pepper and enjoy. 

So these were some of the super foods which you must consume. They will help to improve your health both physical and mental. Mental health is very crucial and important to be managed during the current pandemic situation.

Avocado is considered as healthy fat because it does nt gain weight it's a good fat. Nuts are good source of antioxidants which prevents or slows down ageing process. Eggs are considered as high biological value proteins. One thing everyone should remember egg should be taken immediately after cooked.
