Lions Are Not Crowned Kings!

We get the message from this well spoken that we should not wait for anyone to encourage us, we should move forward in life only with the help of our abilities and cleverness. This reminded me of the Argentina vs Saudi Arabia match in the World Cup. Messi's hopes of a victory march were sabotaged by Saudi Arabia, who were not the favorite team of the tournament. He pulled off one of the most dramatic reversals in football history.

I remembered that quote also because I felt bad for the 'lion' (read Leo Messi). He is playing his fifth and possibly last World Cup, but was seen bowing his head several times during the game. This reminded me of his predecessor, Diego Maradona, who as a child thought that everything that was round was a ball and made for him. As soon as he saw a paper ball, an orange or a ball, he used to play with them. His feet would automatically kick-up the ball, or he would toss it over his head with his backheel and let it fall to his feet. This cycle kept on going on. The difference between a lion and a man is that the man inspires the whole team.

I am sure that the 'Lion' within Messi will also wake up, just like Yogesh Vajhe from a middle-class family showed lion-like courage to save his son. Vajhe, a resident of Mumbai, had discovered that his two-year-old son Nibhish was suffering from PFIC-2 ie Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis. In this disease, the liver gradually starts becoming useless. It is a rare condition, affecting one in a million newborns. Only one or two out of a million children in this category in the world get liver transplants. Yogesh was suitable for liver donation, but he was overweight. He hired a fitness trainer and made a plan to lose weight. He started taking protein diet with green vegetables, which does not contain carbohydrates. Due to discipline in food, exercise and office work, he reduced 10 kg in just two months. In October, he underwent surgery as a donor. His surgery lasted seven hours and son's eight hours. Nibhish is now healthy after being in ICU for 28 days. Sure enough, the father proved to be a lion to his son.

The funda is that no one makes a lion the king in the jungle and no one makes anyone the head in the family. They take charge of things themselves and they never say they are king or queen, because they are lions!
