Hello everyone, these are todays words I hope they help you. 

1.Preen: Making small adjustments (especially on their appearance)

Sentence: 

I dont understand why boys love their hair so much that they preen them every now and then.

As the show was about to start she accidentaly tore the dress which she was about to showcase on the stage so the designer made preen so that she could cover it up. 

2.Derelict: negligent, unsafe, dangerous, vagabond

etymology: de- completely, relingure- forsake

Sentence: 

The night guard was derelict on his duty due to which there was a theif last night who broke into my neighbours house and stole the valuables. 

It is derelict to pass from the abandoned factory at night. 

3.Tarry: Linger, procastinate

Sentence:

No matter how long the lecturer has given us the due date of the assignment we would like to complete it the night before the subission. 

I came ealy to school, so thought I would tarry in the playground.

4.Condiment: A spice, sauce or preparation that is added to food.

Sentence:

With each packet of maggie we get a condiment free. 

The condiment on spagetti was so yum that i wanted to call the chef and ask him how he made it.

5. Appurtenance: an accessory or any particular item related to a particular item. 

Sentence: 

An apple pencil is an appurtenance with the ipad but it is a surcharge.

These days we dont get earphones as appurtenance with mobile phones. 

6. Sagacious: a good judgement, wise and clever

etymology: sagax- wise

Sentence: 

I trust my parents decision as they are sagacious and experienced.

After breaking up with my boyfriend coming back home from mumbai was sagacious, a change of place is really helping to heal.

7. Warble: an uneven singing

Sentence:

 I really cant bear my roomates warble while she is preparing for the music competition.

A great ambient warble can amuse your guest at your hotel. 

8.Fathom: Comprehend (in a negative way)

Sentence: 

I really can't fathom why he would ignore her after they spending such a good time yesterday on their date. 

Lu couldnt fathom why Yiran wanted to kill Yichen and detroy the Jing family who brought him up with many benefits.
