As being a girl our reputation is very important. If we did a little bit mistake than we are shamed by every single person so we have to take every single step by seeing everything and e have to after the pride of our parents too. 

All the people thinks we girls are so dump and we can't even take a step for ourselves. So to prove wrong everyone in the society  that we girls are not powerless we  should must learn about self defence . Self defence helps the women to protect themselves from being a victim and by learning self defence they can also protect their family. 

Self defence is the difference between life and death. Every where women are judged weak and men are judged stronger.

Everyday on news, on social media we saw about women being victimized. Many cases used to come daily like a 17 year girl has been raped. Not only a 17year girl got raped even a 5 year girl also get raped, an old women also get raped no one in our society is safe nowadays so learning self defence is must for girls to protect themselves from being a victim. 

Learn self defence gives us power to do have a fear on going alone anytime anywhere. When we think of a self defence we really thinks of women defending herself. 

In 2010 females experienced 270,000 rape or sexual assault victimization at a rape of about two victimizations per 1,000 females age 12 or older. This is so shameful for us being a human. So we should learn self defence because it built confidence in women. Self defence teaches women discipline transfers over to all other areas of their lives. Self defence gives women freedom as being a part of life in earth. If a girl know self defence she can raise her voice towards anything happing wrong. Self defence should taught to every single girls in schools and colleges and in other platform to nake girls aware of such kind of crime. This is not only important for unmarried women this is for married women too because after marriage too girls has to face many problems in her family like harassment, sexual harassment or random attacks and many other violence against her. 

There are many techniques that girls to learn :

1.hammer strike= if suddenly someone holds you from back than you can use this. 

2. Learning Martial arts is most effective. 

3. Escape with hands trapped. 

4. Escape with headlock.
