Students of other semesters will be examined to see if there is any uncertainty about merit based promotion.

The first phase of Gujarat University online exam has been completed, the second phase examination will be taken.

In the first phase, B.Com, BBA, BCA, approximately 22 thousand students appeared for the examination. In the second phase, B.Ed, B.Sc and B.A. examinations will be taken.

The first phase of online exam has been completed in Gujarat University.  In the first phase, more than 80% of the students who registered for the online exam took the online exam Has given.  Now the second phase of online exams will be launched in the next one week. Importantly, no decision has been taken yet on whether the remaining students will be examined or given merit-based promotions by the university.  Giving an online exam or offline consent was taken for that.  In the first semester, out of a total of 6,000 students, 90% of the students took the exam online and 30% of the students took the online exam Option selected. 

 Approximately 4,000 students who opted for the online exam from B.Com, BBA and BCA have now completed the online exam.  On this issue, the officials of the examination department of the university say that in the next one week, B.A.  , B.Sc and B.Ed will be taken for students who opt for online exam.  Most of the students have already appeared for the exam.  Now, in the second phase also, more than 15,000 students are likely to take the exam online.  The online program of this exam Will be announced by next Monday.  It is important to note that even after the completion of the online exam, the remaining students of Semester 1 who have opted to take the exam offline but not online are yet to take the exam. 

 Apart from this, there is no official clarification from the university as to whether the students of other semesters except the first semester will be examined or they will be given merit based promotion.  Even the professors have recommended that merit based promotion should be given to the remaining students as it is not possible to take the offline exam in view of the current situation.
