All You Need To Know About Covid 19
Covid 19 , an uninvited pandemic that took over entire mankind in its tight-grip that has become nerve-wrecking to even loosen-up. Named with corona this virus has swallowed almost a million and still counting. Though grey matter of humans have come to rescue and doing their bit. Already lockdown, masks and sanitisers have become a thing in society.
Corona virus is a large family of viruses that can potentially cause serious illness in humans or animals. It is unfamiliar to the immune system. This can spread through saliva , mucus when one coughs or sneezes. It falls in the category of communicable diseases.
SYMPTOMS
- Coughing
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of taste and smell
- Headache
- Sore throat
- In serious cases, it can cause pneumonia or can even lead to death
These symptoms may vary from person to person or may not even seem to appear in some.
WHAT YOU CAN DO (PRECAUTIONS)
- Avoid close contact to someone who is ill.
- When you see any symptoms, isolate yourself at home. This is the only way to prevent others from falling ill until you recover.
- Use soap while you wash your hands.
- Use sanitiser multiple times while you are out for work.
- Minimise meeting people in person.
- Work from home , it's the safest thing you can do for yourself.
- Do not reuse βuse and throw' masks.
- Do not touch your eyes, mouth or face when you are out in public.
- Contact and consult your doctor whenever you observe any symptoms.
- Get vaccinated as soon as you get your slot booked.
HOW YOU CAN BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
- Prefer drinking warm water
- Practice Yoga and Meditation at home
- Take care of any illness that you already suffer from
- Add nutritional components to your daily diet
- Drink some herbal tea and decoction
- Get a plenty of sleep
- Do not skip meals
- Take care of your mental health
OTHER SOCIETAL ISSUES :
- Low wage and support to daily workers, due to which they need to move for basic needs.
- Unawareness among large population about precautions.
- Religious and political congregations.
- Improper implementation of rules formulated to prevent spread of covid 19.
There are many other battles that come along with this pandemic such as unemployment, economic crisis in the nation, fall in GDP and many other.
