HELLO BLOGGER'S WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!! HOPE ALL ARE DOING GOOD AND HAVING A GREAT DAY. TODAY I AM GOING TO SAY ABOUT NATURAL REALMS OF THE EARTH. WITH OUT WASTING TIME LET START.
Realms are areas which have some common features. the earth we live on has four realms lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere.
Lithosphere is the solid crust or the hard top part of the earth. The realm of water is called hydrosphere. Hydrosphere comprises various sources of water and different types of water bodies like Rivers, lakes ,seas, oceans etc.
Atmosphere transport water from the Oceans deep in to the continents. Atmosphere is thin layer of air that surrounds the earth. It consists of a large number of gases including oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water vapour and dust particles. It rotates with the earth and goes around the sun with the earth.
The atmosphere prevents harmful rays of the sun from reaching us. Biosphere is the realm of life. Lithosphere deals with the land we live upon.
The first order landforms or the primary division of the earth crust into oceans and continents.the second order landforms are like mountains, plains, and plateaus etc. The Oceans and continents are situated on massive base of rocks called plates.there are seven major plates on the earth.
The movement and collision of plates is called plate tectonics.himalyan mountains were formed by the process of the Indian plate pushing into the Eurasian plate.
Volcanoes are places on the earth's surface where molten material from mantle erupts on the earth's surface.the lava cools down and form hard rocks called igneous rock.
Hydrosphere and atmosphere too play an important role in shaping the surface of the earth.the shaping of the landforms by weathering, erosion, transportation and deposition is known as denudation.
Water acts in many ways as rain river sea waves glaciers to change the surface of the earth.wind acts in many ways as storms gusts steady winds etc to shaping the landforms on the surface of the earth.erosion is shaping of landforms by the moving agents like water, wind etc.
When Rivers and winds slow down they do not have the force to carry the material anymore and they dump them which is called deposition and helps to form plains and river basins.
