The top two films were the blockbuster "KGF 2" and "Brahmastra."
They also appeared on the list of the top movies that were trending internationally.
Indian music was also being hummed around the world, with the indie-pop song "Chaand Baaliyan" by Aditya A and "Srivalli" from the Tamil smash "Pushpa: The Rise" ranking among the most sought-after songs globally.
The most popular "what is" search terms were related to the "Agnipath scheme," a Central government initiative to enlist young people in the Indian Army.
The preferences of users for a wide range of topics, including news, finance, technology, and health, were revealed by other "what is" Google searches.
How to trending queries led by 'How to download vaccination certificate' and 'How to download PTRC challan' (professional tax registration certificate).
