Hi friends,

           Thank you for supporting me till keep supporting me further. Already in one of my previous blogs I have explained why we shouldn't use dumb while referring to the people who are not able to speak. Instead, we should use mute. Likewise, I have seen many are using the term “martyrs” while any soldiers who lost their lives while serving the nation. 

Let me first explain the actual meaning of the “martyr”. Martyr refers to a person who is dead because of refusing or renouncing a religion. Also, the persons who are killed because of their religious or political beliefs. 

When we change the term and use the martyr in terms of soldiers who sacrificed their life our nations, it's like insulting them. So kindly stop using the term martyrs. We have some other words that are appropriate to use instead of a martyr.

Those are killed in action, laid down their lives, a supreme sacrifice for the nation, fallen heroes, Indian army braves, fallen soldiers.

Today while I was browsing for some lessons, I came to know about this, and I felt very much guilty because we should be very careful while using the terms related to the persons who sacrifice their life for the nation. Gladly, I am happy that I will not be wrong anymore, let us correct ourselves now or later. It's not too late to learn anything new. 

It's always good to use language that doesn't hurt anyone. Use kind words, even if you are hurt but show it more kindly. Harsh words will invoke violence and it will affect a very deep way. Why do we always feel that our mother tongue is a kinder language when compared to others. It's because we are very well versed with our mother tongue compared to the others. That is the main reason that I always feel. It's good to learn more to use it more kindly and properly.
