Hi friends,
I always felt that Postpartum depressions are real or this term is being used simply that doesn't matter much. Until pregnancy, I always thought are people make it a big deal of saying postpartum depression. Everything seems to be lie until you experience it.
This depression getting more because of this Covid too. What are the reasons for this depression? I am just going to share the experience that I am facing. many thoughts are running over my mind. It's not easy to just focus on the growth of your child. At first, everyone will be happy about the child, all will be just focus on the child growth. But, the Mom who gave birth by normal or caesarean loses a lot of strength.
It's not easy to gain strength so soon, and it's difficult to gain by taking care of the children. Not only that, after some days she will start feeling insecure because people around her start ignoring her. It happens, when there is a baby first care and attention will always go to the baby.
I am not saying that you should not care about the baby, just don't start ignoring the mom or don't take for granted her feeling anymore. I agree that Delivery is a big phase of her life and it doesn't mean she can cope up on her anything after that.
Just don't forget to take care of her even after pregnancy. I often feel every woman starts getting ignored after pregnancy. Not for every woman, some are lucky they do have understanding one with them. I envy those. I saw this depression is such serious in these times. Maybe we have such a connection to the outside world through social media.
Daily we can see the newborn's mothers reels, family everything on social media these days. The main reason is she didn't get her time for herself. This turns to depression sometimes. Thank you candlemonk that I can express my thoughts over here so that I can weigh down my feelings lightly.
If you ever share those feelings with your neighbours or relatives, they will just stare at you thinking, βare you the one in this world who is the mom? I feel like saying Yes, β I am also the one in those who are suffering in this Covid. Future seems blank to me. Just iterating these words more" This too Shall Pass".
I will be back to normal and lead a stress-free life. Let's hope and don't take these circumstances seriously and enjoy motherhood.
Have a happy day. kindly like and don't forget to follow.
