OUTLINE OF THE MOVIE

 Captains of two rival cricket teams navigate the competitive world of local cricket in Arokkonam as their rivalry on the field transcends beyond the game.

MAIN PROBLEM IN THE MOVIE

Set in Arakkonam during the 1990s, Blue Star portrays a vivid picture of caste conflicts between the two groups, mirroring the wider gap between the ‘oor theru‘ and the ‘colony.’ The film doesn’t shy away from portraying the harsh realities of these divisions, often

 using the term ‘colony‘ to refer to Dalit settlements, shedding light on the derogatory connotations associated with it in Tamil villages.

SUBALTERNITY SHOWN IN THE MOVIE

As like other movies the subalternity does not shown in the form of any communities like fisherman or human scavenging inspite of that they used two religious separation ie ..Hindus and Christians. The movie explains how the Hindus disrespected the Christians and finally how they together won a league match by realizing the fault in their thoughts between tow different religions.

Religious segregation is the separation of people according to their religion. The term has been applied to cases of religious-based segregation which occurs as a social phenomenon, as well as segregation which arises from laws, whether they are explicit or implicit.

Prevent religious separation by respecting all religion.get a good knowledge of other religion .do not dominate over a religion.

The movie suggest us to respect all the religion .also it explains us about the hardships faced by Christian by Hindus also tells about how they were United together by the sports.

What is subaltern 

In postcolonial theory, the term subaltern describes the lower social classes and the Other social groups displaced to the margins of a society; in an imperial colony, a subaltern is a native man or woman without human agency, as defined by his and her social status.

The move blue star had shown the subalternity of Christians and hindu communities where Hindus were the wealthy people whereas the Christians are the lower class people.
