The Reality Of Covid Crisis | Oxygen Shortage

Greetings, fellow travelers! Every day, 3 lakh coronavirus cases are reported. This is a new world record in the making. However, this is merely the official information.

Many states are experiencing significant delays in the testing process, which is the reality on the ground. Furthermore, in some regions, testing is not permitted. As a result, it is predicted that the true number of coronavirus cases is between 10 and 29 times higher than the reported number.

In all likelihood, the 3 lakh instances per day are actually 30 lakh cases per day, rather than 3 lakh cases per day. On the other hand, there is a significant discrepancy between the official death toll from covid-19 that is being reported and the data from the crematorium concerning the dead corpses of the covid-19 victims, with differences ranging from 5, 10, and even 20 times in certain instances.

For example, just 20 official covid deaths were reported in Ahmedabad on April 12th, according to government records. Local daily Sandesh stated that more than 63 people died in one of Ahmedabad's hospitals alone on the same day, according to a report from the same publication.

It was the same phenomenon that was observed in Bhopal but on a far larger scale. According to the Hindustan Times, only 34 people have died in the last 12 days according to the official death toll. In contrast, evidence from crematoriums and cemeteries indicates that more than 800 Covid-19 deaths occurred within the same time period.

The Financial Times collated the data from government records and crematoriums from a variety of sources in numerous locations, and it was discovered that the greatest discrepancy was observed in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, among other places.

To a certain extent, it may also be observed in Bihar. The situation is so dire that some residents of Bhopal claim that the last time such a large number of people died was during the Bhopal Gas tragedy. Local media outlets reported that dead bodies were being burnt on a footpath in Ghaziabad, and this was confirmed later.

Because there is no more space available on the crematorium grounds. This is how the government's official statistics are deceiving us at this time of the Corona pandemic, according to the data. This is real-time proof of the claim. The bodies of the deceased are being burnt on this footpath just outside this crematorium.

These are the remains of patients who died as a result of the coronavirus. Because of the large number of remains that are being burned on a regular basis in Surat, the iron in the crematoriums has begun to corrode. We are just dealing with a fraction of the issues that we face in this crisis, as evidenced by the fudged data and the delays in testing.

However, this is something that falls under the jurisdiction of the government. If the government so desires, they may provide us with the actual statistics. The solution to this problem is not complicated. Other issues, on the other hand, are arising as a result of the actions of individuals.

Some people have turned to black marketing as a result of a scarcity of hospital beds, pharmaceuticals, and medicines in general. Remdesivir, an antiviral medicine that you may have heard of, and which is currently receiving a lot of attention, is an antiviral drug. Some people believe that it aids in the treatment of Covid-19, and others disagree.

But allow me to make one point clear to you, my friends. It's possible that you'll find it shocking. According to the research articles that have been published so far, its effectiveness is extremely low when compared to the demand for it across the country. In the majority of cases, it is ineffective against Covid-19.

There are several special use cases for it that you should be aware of. Patients with Covid-19 have only been prescribed this medication in a very limited number of situations. Whatever the case, it is despicable how certain people have taken advantage of the public's fear and have begun to black-market this medication.

Its current market value is 2,500 per vial. Two people were arrested in Vadodra for selling it at a price of Rs. 7,500 per vial, according to police. In Delhi's illicit market, it can fetch up to Rs. 25,000 (about). Who are these individuals? Consider the consequences of your actions! People have begun to die in this place, and you are reaping the financial benefits of their deaths.

What do you intend to do with this money? You should be ashamed of yourself. When you're spending your money, keep those folks in mind. It was necessary for people to perish as a result of your selfishness. These black-marketeers frequently take advantage of flaws in the system.

Pharmaceutical companies market their products to wholesalers and retailers. The medications are delivered to medical supply stores by the wholesalers. And the folks who work in medical supply stores frequently sell the pharmaceuticals to middlemen and black-marketeers at a premium price to make a profit.

And then these individuals make a profit by selling it to the general public at an exorbitant price to make a profit. Amongst other things, the most serious difficulty that the country is experiencing during this crisis is a scarcity of hospital beds and oxygen cylinders.

According to the BBC, 99 percent of the intensive care unit (ICU) beds in hospitals in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai have already been filled. At the time of filming this movie, hospitals in Delhi, as well as in several other states and cities, had only a few hours' worths of oxygen supplies left in stock.

The oxygen supply at Patparganj's Max Hospital was reduced to three hours each day. They filed an urgent application with the Delhi High Court in response to this predicament.

The High Court ordered the Central Government to halt the use of oxygen in the steel and petroleum industries and to shift the oxygen to medical facilities so that people could be protected from their perils. The oxygen supply is critical to the survival of more than 400 patients at this Max Hospital in New York City.

It is possible that these people will perish if the operation is interrupted. This is a problem that exists throughout the country. There is no doubt that the government, rather than the people, bear the majority of the responsibility for the grave predicament in which our country finds itself. What aspects of one's life are under the control of the individual? In order to preserve social distance, it is necessary to wear a mask.

What else does a person have influence over? Government officials had been given 6, 7, even 8 months to complete their tasks. After the first wave of coronavirus had passed, the second wave began.

The governments had plenty of time to increase the number of hospital beds available and to construct oxygen-producing facilities. To ensure that the supply of oxygen cylinders is correctly managed. In order to ensure that vaccines are distributed quickly and efficiently. However, none of these actions were taken by the government.

The government squandered a significant amount of time. According to a report from Scroll. in, the government spent more than eight months alone on the process of putting out tenders for the construction of oxygen generating plants. In the current state of affairs, just 5 of the originally intended 150 plants are functioning.

If only the government had not squandered all of this time and effort. While India is experiencing a fiscal crisis, the government has opted to invest 20,000 crores in Central Vista at the same time as the project. If the government had concentrated its efforts on these issues, the situation would not have gotten so bad.

Some might wonder why I'm being so partisan in my writing. What exactly is the point of involving politics in this? However, the reality is that political failings in a country are what ultimately cause these catastrophes.

As a matter of fact, the Central Government determines the distribution of oxygen throughout the country, as well as the acquisition and distribution of vaccines.

Today's news shows Delhi's chief minister expressing gratitude to the central government for improving the availability of oxygen. Alternatively, the Punjab Chief Minister could write to the Centre to request an increase in Punjab's oxygen allocation.

In Kerala, it is being suggested that the allocation of vaccines should be raised to better serve the population. Because it barely accounts for one-tenth of the total demand. This is due to the fact that the Central Government is in charge of the acquisition and distribution of vaccines and oxygen in the country.

The entire administration, from our Prime Minister to our Home Minister, was occupied with political rallies and demonstrations. Where would they have found the time to complete such a monumental task?

As a result, the government has delegated authority to the people in order for them to be self-sufficient. People are demanding medicines, hospital beds, even oxygen cylinders on social media sites these days, according to reports.

This is carried out in a disorganized manner. Individuals cannot submit requests through organized platforms or websites since there are no such platforms or websites. And the people in the region who can assist them can get in touch with them. It has not yet been observed.

On social media, everything is really disorganized. Some people, on the other hand, have attempted to organize something similar. By putting together their own toolkits.

It is my intention to place a link to them in the pinned comment below, and I will keep updating it with the most recent information. I hope it may be of use to you if you require it. Don't let your courage and optimism fade away. Thank you very much for your assistance.
