Artists can use colour in a variety of ways to convey meaning and emotions in their work. One way to use colour is to create contrast and balance within a composition. colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel, such as red and green or blue and orange, are known as complementary colours. Using complementary colours in a composition can create a sense of balance and harmony, while using colours that are adjacent to each other on the colour wheel, such as blue and green, can create a sense of calmness and tranquillity.

Another way to use colour in art is to create a focal point within a composition. A focal point is an area of the composition that draws the viewer’s attention, and artists can use colour to create contrast and draw attention to specific areas of the artwork.
Although humans have been experimenting with color since the beginning of time, in the twentieth century, comparatively comprehensive color systems started to emerge one after another. Colors have the ability to elicit strong emotions and transmit information even in the absence of language and other means of communication. Thus, people can be affected by color in both physical and psychological ways. This paper examines how color painting is represented visually in relation to psychological aspects. The notion of personality traits is examined, and the relevant material from visual psychology is presented. A binary logistic regression analysis is done to investigate the connection between each variable, color psychology, and the visual depiction of painting colors.

PAINTING
Colours play an important part in our lives. They add fun and life to it and make it beautiful and enjoyable for us.
• We see different shades of colours all around us in everything from nature to the place we live and work.
• The best way of making use of these colours is through Painting.
Painting is a mode of creative expression. It's an art form which gives us the freedom of expressing our thoughts on a canvas with the help of colours
and a brush.
Paintings can be naturalistic and representational (as in a still life or landscape painting), photographic, abstract, be loaded with narrative content, symbolism, emotion or be political in nature.
