In the year of 2013, there was sale of famous books with affordable price was conducted in at my town.I remember bursting crowd during this sale.We bought many books during this sale and Sherlock Holmes was one of them.When I started reading first book, got so into it and almost forgot to attend my classes.

      Sherlock Holmes calls himself ‘Consulting Detective’ and his observations and analytical skills makes him different from all detective working with him.Dr Jon Watson, is a retired army surgeon who moves in with Sherlock Holmes in their 221/B ,Baker Street apartment . This book series is all about investigation and adventure they did together during 1880 to 1920.One can read series randomly as no story or novel is connected to one another.There are total four novels of Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Cannon Doyle and I like all.Here are my favorite novel ranking.

4. The Sing of Four -:

          A client approaches to Sherlock Holmes for Help.She receives a mysterious letter informing that her inheritance from her father, who has been not heard about for more than 10 years is waiting for her. Letter writer allows her to come with two companions for their first meet as witness and Holmes and Watson are ready to accompany her and adventure begins. 

3.The Valley of Fear -:

          On one fine morning, Holmes receives a letter from his confidence(spy) about secret information of planned murder in code language.The minute he deciphers the code , his Police friend comes to home and after reading message he tells him that murder of same person is committed on previous night only. Holmes is ready of help police in this complex case and game begins.

2. Study in Scarlet :-

          This is first book of Sherlock Holmes.It is story of how Dr.Jon Watson meets Sherlock Holmes and after moving in with him, one day Sherlock receives telegram of mysterious murder in deserted house and Dr. Watson gets first opportunity to accompany him on field investigation.

1.The Hound of The Baskervilles-:

          This is the best best best novel and plot of entire Sherlock Holmes series.One day a doctor from countryside comes to Sherlock Holmes to consult him about recent death of his wealthy friend in the town.His death is somehow similar to story of legend of  hound attack which runs in his dead friend's family .Soon they realize someone is spying on Henry Baskerville, only heir of decease person from the minute he arrive in London. Is the hound story real? is there any paranormal power roaming in the toown? Do read the book.
