A documentary about Ennio Morricone, one of the greatest film composers of the twentieth century. A must watch documentary for music fans and world cinema fans alike. Time has seen the beauty of the person who wanted to be a doctor as a child. Ennio's father, a trumpeter, dashes Ennio's medical dream and sends him to learn the trumpet. In the beginning he used to play only the trumpet. Then he gets trained to write music. What happened after that is history.

When I watched movies like Cinema Paradiso, Django Unchained, I didn't know who the music composer was. When I saw the movie 'Once upon a time in America', I was shocked to hear the background music of the movie. When I searched for "Who has this composer threatened like this", the music was called 'Ennio Marriconi'. Although I have read a lot of what people have said before about Ennio's musical genius, I got firsthand experience with 'Once upon a time in America'. Now it is only when watching this 'Ennio: The Maestro' documentary that the relationship between Sergio Leone and Ennio, who directed the movie 'Once upon a time in America', becomes clear.

Sergio and Ennio are inseparable. Most of Sergio's films have music. But Ennio has been overworked for each film, Sergio. After all, both were schoolmates. It was so interesting to see Ennio describe how he wrote the scores for each movie. He also did not get recognition in due time. Despite being nominated several times, the Oscars have been awarded late.

Ilayaraja can also be seen in Ennio's music, AR Rahman can also be seen. Ennio has done so many experiments in his films. He is a real MASTER. Just as we cannot watch all the movies composed by Ilayaraja, it is difficult to watch all the movies composed by Enyo. As Ilayaraja worked in the 90s, he worked as frantically in the 70s. In 1969 alone, 21 films were released with Ennio's music.

Behind Ennio's success was his wife 'Maria'. He dedicated it to his wife when he received the Oscar for Lifetime Achievement in 2007 and the Oscar for 'The Hateful Eight' in 2016. Their love story was very interesting. You can search and read on the internet. Write notes and ask Maria for ideas. Maria would show the directors only the notes she said were OK. Maria does not speak in this documentary, and there is not much information about her on the Internet, but Ennio's heart is full of Maria.
