Falling Out Of Love

Love - it's a weird word. You want it but you are afraid. Afraid that he might hurt you again. But, how can he hurt you? Maybe you opened your doors to him, allowed him to enter your heart and tear it apart into million pieces. You still want to care for him, knowing he would not reciprocate the same feeling. You want to talk to him, loiv him, fight with him. You want to nurture him. You want to grow up with him and be a part of his memories. He still ended up hurting you. He had no intentions to. Your entire world turns upside down. You have no idea what to do, where to go. You are afraid. You are afraid of the fact that how will you overcome this pain, this sudden sadness. You know he doesn't care. You know he will lead a happy life. Alas! Who would complete the void in your heart? The void created by you. You gave a part of you to him. You are hollow, you are empty.

Life suddenly stops. You stop feeling. You forget the meaning of joy. You forget the importance of your existence. You forget how much you like the smell of wet soil. You realise your life has lost its meaning. You desperately want to heal yourself but fail to. Your anxiety magnifies at a compound rate. You believe that someone someday will again heal your broken heart. But how would you know that he is the one? You have already closed all your doors.

After sometime, someone comes again. A friend, a colleague, an angel. He enters your life and you feel what happiness is. You start being cheerful again. You start focussing on yourself. You remember all of a sudden how important it is to love yourself.

You finally realise you fell out of love. You are not sad anymore. You are rather content with the fact that loving him taught you a lot. You are glad that you experienced the greatest feeling of this Universe - Love. Maybe one day, somewhere you both will again cross paths, look at each other, and smile. You will look back at the moments and smile at your silly gestures. Life goes on. Maybe the love hasn't died. Maybe in some parallel universe, you and him create your own story made of love
