Hella peeps!
Last day, I was coming home from work. Yes work.. I am a nurse by profession and currently working as a nursing tutor in a Private Institute.
Let's talk about the point.
Yesterday.. while returning via train.. I saw a corpse lying in the railway track. The lifeless body seemed to belong to an old vendor. Typically dressed in a faded out shirt, dull lungi and the hallmark ‘ gamcha’ they wear.
To my utter astonishment.. nobody , believe me none were interested or had time to pay a last look to the corpse. My profession teaches me to be steady always. But I couldn't cover my human emotions. I hovered over the window pane and looked at him till he was no more visible..
A thought dawned upon me! Life is so short and unpredictable. I don't whether that person died naturally or otherwise… but the fact is even he had to die.. why so there?
In an alienated place!
What made him put himself in that situation! In this superbly fast paced world there is no time for togetherness. Don't we know that we are on the incorrect track?
Is “modernization” our sole aim? Even if it is so.. why are we loosing being empathetic for each other?
We fought with Corona together and have nearly won the battle. Does that mean we always need a constraint factor to keep us together?
The issue is a serious matter and is as pandemic as the Corona virus ..
It needs our valuable time to think upon. With so much of lives lost in the past 1.5 years and the economic downfall we have undergone in this season of pandemic.. how can we become so irresponsible towards each other. .
Let's not be like this.. let's be actually friends. Let's not let die anyone like that old vendor.. instead let's help each other beforehand.. let's be each others support system.. let's not defy each others lives.. let us live according to our wishes. Let us not allow ourselves to commit antisocial acts. Let us introspected ourselves when impulse hits the mind to do so..
No body can motivate us to be together.. unless we motivate ourselves. We can overcome all hurdles.. all obstacles when we are together devoid of any reluctance.
It is us who can save us.. it is us who can save the mankind from the dead end.. it is us who should motivàte ourselves.. it is us who should strive hard to be together and be our support in times of needs.
