Indian farmer or, Life of a farm worker. 

India is an agricultural country. Mostly people live in villages and do farming. These people are called farmers.

His dress is very simple. Generally he wears dhoti and kurta. His clothes are dirty. Mostly he is bare footed.

His food is very simple but pure. Mostly he eats dal and roti. In winter he eats Makka ki roti aur chane ka saag with great interest. He drinks milk and whey with gur. But he likes butter very much. He takes nice food on some occasions.

His house is not very fine. It is made of mud. It has hatch over it. Door and windows are of old fashioned.

His work is very hard. He gets up early in the morning. Then he goes to the filled with oxen. He works hard whole day. He has to work in every weather. He sows seed and waters the fields. When the crop is ripe he reaps it.

Indian farmer is backward. He is not much educated. So he is not much wise. He is superstitious. 

Farmer is the backbone of our country. He grows food for us. Really farmer is God in man's form. 

The Postman,Postman is a government servant. He is very useful for us. He works in postal department. He is poor man.

He wears khaki pant and shirt. He has a cap on his head. He has a leather bag in which he keeps letters, parcels and money orders. He gets his uniform from the government.

His work is very hard. First he goes to the post office. There he sorts the letters of his area. Then he puts the stamp on them. Then he goes in his areas. He delivers them door-to-door. He has to do his work in heat, cold and rain.

He is not much educated. But he can read and write Hindi, English and Urdu. Some postmen are matric pass. 

He is very important person. He brings good and bad news for us. He gives us the news of our relatives and friends. Everyone waits for him. So he is very useful for the society. 

He is a low paid servant. His condition is not well. But he is honest and gentle.

The policeman or, police constable, Police man is a government servant. Everybody knows him well. He is very important person.He is a tall and healthy man.

He wears a khaki uniform. He wears pant and shirt. He has cap on his head. He ties a red belt. His shoes are also red and bright.

He guards our houses and shops at night. When there is traffic jaam in the market, he controls the mob and traffic. He saves the people from accidents. He arrests the robbers, thieves and pick- pockets.  His duty is very risky.

A policeman is not much educated. But he is certainly matric pass. He can read and write Hindi and English. These days some policeman are graduate.

He is very useful person. He maintains law and order in the society. Thus he is our helper and friend. He is the symbol of law. We say him peace protector. 

He is a terror for the criminals. Although some policemen are mean  fellow. They are bribe taker. They defame all the police department. They should be honest and of high character.
