1. A journey by Train.
Last year, I as well as my friends made a plan to see the Taj at Agra. So next day we packed up our bedding and went to the railway station.
I went to the booking window to buy tickets. People were standing in a long queue. I got tickets with great difficulty. Then we reached the platform. It was full of passengers. The platform was noisy. Some hawkers were selling fruits, tea, sweets. Some women were talking. As train arrived, we got in the train.
The scene inside the train was very interesting. Some men were sleeping. Some were playing cards. A lady was singing with her child and begging alms.
It was an express train, it stopped only at big station. When it stopped, some passengers got in and some got down. The train was going through the green fields and the forests. We saw many green fields. In the forest we saw tigers, snakes and jackals. I saw many rivers and canals.
At last the train reached Agra. Our journey was very pleasant and comfortable.
2. A journey by Bus.
It was last year, I wanted to enjoy my holidays. I decide to go to Haridwar and next day I left for Haridwar.
When I reached the bus stand, I am a big crowd there. Bus stand was full of noise. Everyone was waiting for the bus. As the bus arrived, it was full in no time. I missed three buses. Then a delux bus came. With great difficulty I entered it.The bus stayed at the bus stand for ten minutes. After ten minutes it started. There were about fifty passengers in it.
It was a summer morning. The weather was very fine. The morning air was cool. The scene outside the bus was very fine. The farmers were going to their fields with cattle. Little children were going to school with heavy bags. Fields were full of ripe crops. The birds were flying in the sky. Some were singing in the trees. We saw many Barats on the way. Thus we reached Haridwar at 2:30 p.m.
It was a pleasant journey. I like the journey by bus. I was very happy.
3. An accident or An Unfortunate day.
Once I meet with an accident. It was an unlucky day for me. I can never forget that day.
I was going to Jodhpur to attend my friend's marriage. I was travelling by train. I was very happy.
At about eleven at night when our train reached near Jaipur, suddenly there was a violent jolt. I fell down from my seat. There were loud cries and shrieks all over. Some people were dead while some were badly injured. A few women fainted. Our train collided the other train coming from opposite side.
It was a tragic scene. Some people were crying for help. Hearing the hue and cry, the people from neighbouring areas reached there. A relief team also reached the spot. They took the wounded persons to the civil hospital. Dead bodies were sent for postmortem.
I was very nervous. So I cancelled my programme to attend the marriage.
