School days constitute a different part of everyone's life. Some of us may be in the same school up to the 10th standard some have shifted to other schools in middle. New people come to our class every year and some old friends will go. The exam patterns quarterly, half-yearly, and summer holidays after the final exams are most exciting. In this blog, I will share some of my memories of my school.
My school has a very vast ground surrounded by different trees and the whole ground is covered with sand. It has 4 different blocks for primary and secondary. There is a darbar near our school so especially in exams time, we used to reach school early and pray in darbar. Every day at 9:00 Am prayer is held on school grounds after that everyone should go to their classes within 10 minutes, our principal sir used to stand with a big stick in his hands to punish the latecomers and non-uniform students. Classrooms are very big and benches made with wood, the blackboards each thing is just perfect in the way it is.
The most exciting part about our school is the corridors, during the revision time our teachers used to send the students with good academic excellence to corridors and asked to prepare on their own so that it will be easy for them to focus on average students. Luckily I'm one of them. Coming to the corridors we used to study for some time and then started playing different games and unending chatter. Our school has a huge dining hall and it is always full so most of the time we used to have our lunch in our classrooms.
Sports period is the most awaited period during sports some of us plays, while the others used to roam around the school premises. It is always interesting to go to primary children's classrooms and talk with them. Half-days during summer were really exciting and the results of our final exams are declared during the middle of our summer holidays, that day all of our friends used to visit the school to collect our progress cards not only to check our result but also the other's results.
When school reopens after the summer holidays, searching for our new classroom, Bothering about new staff, new books, and new schedule, talking about new faces in our class everything is exciting and these days never come back.
