Tirupati Venkateswara Temple (Venkateswara Temple) or Tirupati Seven Malayan Temple is one of the 108 Vaishnava temples dedicated to the Azhwars. This place is located in Tirupati town of Tirupati district of Andhra state. As it is surrounded by seven mountains namely Seshatri, Garudatri, Neelatri, Anjanathri, Vrishapatri, Narayanathri and Venkatatri, the place is called Eyumalai and the source of the place is called Ejumalaiyan. The source of this temple is known as Venkatasalapati and Venkadan. Mother Padmavati Ammaiyar.
Mount Venkatadri is 3200 feet high and covers an area of 10.33 square miles. Lattu is offered as prasadam in this temple. A geocode is assigned to this lattice. [ The offering of hair is the chief among the prayers of the devotees. This place is the highest revenue temple in India.
President's History
Sages like Bhrigu performed sacrifices. Thinking that the fruit of the sacrifice should be given to a meek idol, he went to Tirumala's abode among the three idols. Bhrigu kicked Tirumal in the chest while he was sleeping, unaware of the sage's arrival. So Thirumal, who was in Thirumal's heart, went away from him in anger.
Thirumal was penance at a place on Venkata hill in search of Thiruma on earth. Cancer formed around him. An ax was thrown at Tirumal, who was in penance, to break his neck, and blood flowed from Tirumal's head. Tirumal went to Vaghladevi Ashram after penance. There, Srinivasan treated her with love, naming her as Vaguladevi.
Akasharajan came to Chandrigiri country near their ashram. Vaguladevi went to marry Srinivasan to his daughter Padmavati. Srinivasan took a loan from Kubera as their marriage went very well.
HISTORY
Although this temple is located in present day Andhra Pradesh, it belonged to the ancient Tamil Nadu region. Tamils have been ruling this temple. It is believed that the temple was originally a place of worship for Kortavai and later converted into a Murugan temple, and the Arya Brahmins greatly transformed it. Agnihothram Ramanusa Dattacharya has mentioned that the statue of Perumal in Tirumala is the statue of Kali (Kortavai) in the book Where is Hinduism Going? It is said that it is a Murugan temple. Sundarasanmuganar wrote a book called Venkata Velavan in literature.
Bhrigu went to Vaikundam in search of the meekest of the three. Without seeing Thirumal Brigham…450 festivals and utsavams in 365 days of the year are held for no other deity. That's why Envao Tirupati has been called 'Phuloka Vaikundam'.
