These are the few questions i have had listened whenever I'm speaking for pride or LGBTQ communities.
But why??
In one side of society, there is a lot of movements are happening for the equality for these people, at the same time there is still people are completely avoiding them also making their life miserable. A lot of them are still struggling to overcome the mental trauma they had from us.
When we gonna start to learn they are like us and they don't have any special organs or any kind of other stuff.
Recently one of my friend opened himself infront of his family and friends about the fact of being a trans. As we can guess, his family banished him from house and mentally harassed him. Still i can't accept this fact. Why we can't accept them as they are.
He was completely distressed initially and taken a lot of time to comeback to normal life. He had quit his job for being him. Now he is in the new way of living a new life.
Being a parent doesn't means that you can control your child or invade their personal life. You can show the world to them but don't insist them to live the morals according to the society. It's their life, let them decide how to live.
In future, if you son or daughter says that they are queer, what would you do? Are you going to banish them or making them silent or help them to built a life as they want?
Today is june first.. It is the start of pride month. Can we try to live with them by accepting they as our sisters and brothers. I'm not hoping for rapid miracle but still it won't cause any difficulty in your life.
Let we do this together so none of them won't struggle in future even it could be our own children. We can make a better place for them.
Let them be our Teachers, Doctors likewise there is need to support them to achieve their dreams. Along with it, we need to try to remove those words that are used to tease or hurt them.
Learn yourself and teach your surroundings. Teach your partner, your parents, your colleagues, your students, your children..
Be a light to future..
Be a human..
Be you..
At last be proud about what you have done..
