I am keen TV watcher. If somebody asks me about my hobby I would rather say “watching Tv is my hobby“. This came in as a support in walk towards Kdramas and Kpop. My journey into Korean wave as far as I remember started back in 2009, and Boys over Flowers became the first Korean drama that I watched. Thereon, began my craze of Korean Pop and Korean Dramas. So far, I have a long list of Korean dramas and movies that has been watched by me. As smartphones and internet were a gem, which was not an easy access, for me to watch dramas I  bought CDs with once in a while visits to the CD stores. As an avid fan anime, Animax had become my favourite TV channels, which had a Korean program which aired Korean concerts where idol group sang and danced. Through this I was introduced to the Korean pop culture. Super Junior and Shinwe became my favourites, in conclusion I had then become a Shawol and ELF. As they still remain my favourites. The eager wait for the program on for Saturdays and Sundays were never ending, as the program aired during these days. This was the wait to groove and to write lyrics from the screen, to which I somewhat succeeded. With kdramas and kpop I have been introduced to new culture, which I find really intriguing in the meantime picking up a phrase or two of Korean language. That was the time when kpop and kdrama did not come to my friends liking, so I could not really make a discussion or feel giddy while fangirling. Watching Dramas and fangirling to Kpop all in itself was  a different world that a teenage myself saw. The struggle of understanding the language and reading out the subtitles also while watching the drama. With this experience, I have now become a pro in subtitle. I would have definitely be awarded for subtitle reading competitions, if it ever existed. Well, I still follow my Kpop dreams. And my story goes on. As every fangirl, it has been my dream to visit South Korea get a while new experience. With more access to Internet and availability of dramas in various platforms have ended the wait of buying CDs from the stores.

I will be back with series of experiences with Kpop and Kdramas And my craze towards anime which seem to have been dying out.
