How many mornings made you feel so worthless ,as though you really had issues , as though you were the whole problem , and nobody or nothing else? Mark my words , it does not work like that .
You always have a say in doing what is best for you . This could possibly involve pushing away toxic people , that serve you no good in life or resigning from that post that traumatizes you . We aren't designed to be robots , so we have our right to choose . However , a majority of us are stuck up with the thought of ββ¦will it be mean is I do that ? Will they feel bad ? Will I regret later ? I don't know what to do.β
Let them feel bad , let yourself be mean , if you are sure the end of that relationship or job is going to serve you mental peace .
ALWAYS REMEMBER , YOU CANNOT ALWAYS BE THE NICE PERSON IN EVERYBODY'S LIFE . LEARN TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF TOO.
And for those of us that think being mean is super trendy , you are wrong. There is a huge difference between defending yourself and disrespecting others. You must be considerate but do not be a slave . Remember to draw boundaries in whatever you do and with whomever you meet . Your personal respect doesn't deserve to be mistreated under any circumstance.
LEARN TO SAY NO WHEN YOU NEED TO .
There have been so many instances in my life where all I did was try to please people and the authority , and ended up fighting a war with myself. All it did was make me feel used and worthless .But then I decided to change for the better . Many people told me I changed and they liked the older and kinder me better , but sorry , I still treat people with respect ,I'm still there for people if they need me, all I stopped doing is work for you , I started working for myself.
PEOPLE WILL JUDGE , THEY WILL JUDGE ALL YOUR ACTIONS .
It is your choice , however , it is your say in whether you want to be mistreated all your life, or live up to your standards . People will eventually adapt to the change you went through , when there is possibly no other choice left for them .
LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO FEEL ALL WORTHLESS AND REMAIN SAD . SO ENJOY EVERY THING YOU DO , CUT OFF WHATEVER IS DRAGGING YOU DOWN AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT , TELL THEM, TELL YOURSELF - βNAH! IT'S NOT MY CUP OF TEA" , AND JUST WALK AWAY .
