Love is magical. 

Do I sound cliche? Maybe I am. That is precisely how the K-drama “Goblin: The lonely and Great God” made me feel. I was a massive fan of romance until half of my college days and after that, I found them a bit overrated. K-dramas were popular among my hostel friends, even though many of them urged me to watch K-dramas, I was never interested in them. 

I watched this K-drama on a special request from someone( I am not mentioning the name here). I believe that every person who crosses our path in this journey has a lesson to teach us. This person, with their jovial mood and cheerful chattering, has shown me how beautiful life can be if we just let it be the way it is. Thank you for crossing my path. You will always be remembered and cherished. 

So, coming back to the K-drama, this is based on a popular Korean myth Dokkaebi. The legend of Dokkaebi or Goblin is retold in a modern way. I am neither going to review this series nor going to get into its details. This blog is about a few dialogues in the drama that struck me hard. 

1. "Your choice is the only answer in life. "
   Our life primarily depends on the choices we make. If our life is a ship, our choices decide the course and direction of the sail. Furthermore, our choices are the answers to why we reached one shore rather than the other. 
    
2. "Every human dies at some point and that's why life is even more beautiful" 
   The prospect of dying at some point makes life worth living. How delightful thought. When we are sure of the ending we tend to enjoy each and every moment we have. Death is that ending. Whether we like it or not, it will find every one of us one day. And that gives us a perfect reason to live our life to the fullest. 
    
3. "The Almighty simply questions, fate is the question I  throw and you can find the answer." 
   In simpler words, God doesn't have all the answers. He gives us questions and asks us to find the answers ourselves. If we are given a tough question that means the Almighty thinks that we are capable enough to solve them. 

There are many quotes in the series that probed me to change the way I thought of certain things and I hope that these quotes change your perspectives too.
