Many of us are facing challenges they can be stressful , overwhelming and cause strong emotion in adults and children, which can increase stress and anxiety.
These days it is hard not to get overwhelmed once in a while. Between juggling work, family and many other commitments, make us feel stressed out and busy. But you need to set time aside to unwind, or else your mental and physical health can suffer.
The common symptoms may be physical or emotional. Some reactions to a stressful event can include :

# changes in appetite , energy, desired and interests.
# Difficulty in sleeping or nightmares, concentration lack and hard to make decisions.
# physical reactions such as headaches, body pain , stomach problem and skin rashes.

# Worsening of mental health conditions.
# Increased use of tobacco , Alcohol and other substances.
Some of the ways how you can control or manage your stress level are listed below :
Deep breathing :
Breathing rate decreases a certain level with increase in pressure or stress. It is ok to calm down few seconds with deep breathing, which would help you to be stable.
Proper meditation on a regular basis will help you to recover easily from any kind of pressure. You will be surprised to see how effective it would be .
Eat well :
Eating regarly in proper intervals of time will help you control your mood. Balanced diet is very important. Add fruits , Vegetables , whole grains , protein rich food to get relief from bad mood.
Exercise regularly:
Working out is one of the best ways to relax your body and mind. Exercise will improve your mood. Work upto 2 hours and 30 minutes like brisk walks or 75 minutes of a more vigorous exercise like swimming, jogging or other sports.
Relax your muscles :
When you are stressed your muscle get tensed. You can help them loosen and refresh your body by stretching, enjoying massage, taking a hot bath or a shower or getting a good night sleep.
Spend some time with hobbies :
Try to do something everyday that will make you feel happy and good. Even a 15 to 20 minutes are enough to spend with your hobbies which include reading, knitting, playing golf, doing puzzles etc.
Talk about your problems :
Talking about your problems can help you lower your stress. You can talk to your family members, friends, a trusted person, a doctor or a therapist. Self talk is also a good way to reduce stress.
