After all these terrible months filled with the outbreak of Covid 19, travel is a real necessity for some people to relax and take a break. In my opinion, the best place to visit in India is clearly the state of Kerala. Here are some places you should visit in Kerala:
• Alleppy
Alleppy, also known as the India's own version of Venice, is a great town for a spectacular views of the backwaters. The experience of holiday on your own houseboat is worth it. It is one of the best places you should not miss on your holiday in Kerala.
• Munnar
A beautiful hill station that gives justice to the name of gods own country. Munnar is on the altitude of 1600 m, it is also voted as one of the best romantic places in the world. Tea and spice plantations, with mountain streams and spectacular lake views makes it a wonderful destination.
• Kumarakom
On the shores of the Vembanad lake, this is a picturesque town. Go on a houseboat cruise, spot birds at their natural habitat and enjoy one of the top reasons to visit Kerala. Best time to visit Kumarakom is from August ot february.
• Kochi.
Kochi or Cochin is one of the top places in Kerala, also known as the queen of the Arabian Sea. As a traveler, one should visit its Museums, Beaches, churches and many more. The best time to visit Kochi when the weather is pleasant is from August to February.
• Wayanand
Wayanand is considered as one of the prettiest place in India for nature lovers. Best tourist attractions include Wayanand wildlife sanctuary, Kanthapara waterfall, Meenmutty falls, Ayurveda Yoga Villa and Muthanga wildlife Safari. Best time to visit Wayanand would be october to may.
• Vagamon.
Another hill station of gods own country, Vagamon serves as a perfect vacation destination. It is perfect for the ones looking for some peace solace from the city. It is filled with rocky mountains, gorgeous waterfalls and beautiful environment. It is best to avoid going there on monsoons. Preferably, one can visit Vagamon during winter or summer.
