Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in a good health and are having a blast of a day.๐Ÿ’—

Today, we will be talking about a biblical story of โ€œDavid and Goliathโ€.

So David and Goliath is a story in bible about a great warrior Goliath and his defeat at the hands of young David.

David was the youngest son of the 12 sons of Jesse. During a nation war between Israel and Philistine, David's brother went ahead to fight. Young David stayed back. The two armies of the nations stood on the opposite side of a deep valley.

A great warrior of Philistine named Goliath, that stood over 9 feet, was in the front of the Philistine army line for about 40 days, daily. Goliath called out King Saul and the Israelite, but they were too scared and did nothing. Goliath stood unbeatable.

David was commanded by his father, Jesse, to visit the front line of the battle, gather intel and bring back the battle new from his brothers. On his mission, he heard Goliath mocking the Israelites and their God. He asked King Saul to let him fight and decided to not have the armor of King Saul. David took his sling and gathered 5 stones. Goliath mocked at David but even though Goliath had a sword and a spear, he approached him with the name of Almighty, God of Israel.

David put a rock in his sling and threw one of the stones at Goliaths head. The rock hits his head and he fell. David picked up the sword of Goliath and sliced Goliath's head off his body.

The Philistines, horrified, ran away when they saw their great warrior Goliath killed so easily. The Israelites won that war because of the young boy who trusted and had faith in God.

Is this story real??

The archeologists haven't really found any concrete physical evidence of this story being true. But it doesn't really mean that it didnt happen and also doesn't mean that it did happen.

This story shows you that being a giant doesn't always mean that you will be the winner, courage, trust and commitment are also important.

So that is all for today's blog, guys. I hope you liked it.
