Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day.

In this blog, we will be discussing about a greek mythological creature that had a remarkable impact on many heroes of the wars. Chiron is the most famous of all centaurs ( half man - half horse creatures) and is the son of the god chronos and the nymph Philora. The titan wanted to hide his relationship from his wife, Andrea, the titan turned himself into a horse and had relations with the Nymph. Chiron was born as a hybrid from this union. His appearance horrified his mother and so she abandoned her own son.

Chiron then was welcomed by the god apollo, who taught him many  forms of knowledge on the subjects of art, medicine and how to use the bow and the arrow. As an adult, chiron was recognized as a great sage and greatly skilled in curative sciences. He also became an accomplished trainer of some great heroes like Achilles, thesseus, Ajax, Jason and many more of the famous pupils of chiron. All this wisdom and experience made him stand out among other centaurs, the descendants of Ixion. These were beastialized beings who as a rule of thumb, followed their more primitive instincts. Chiron fought them sporadically. Chiron was also considered as the most wisest and justest of all centaurs. The centaur also saved the life of Pelius, who was abled to be killed by them but his tragic end was in the hands of hercules, when fighting a mob of centaurs. The hero hit chiron unintentionally by an arrow poisoned with hydra's blood. Such type of wound would have been incurable and would have killed the centaur if he was not the son of a titan and therefore immortal. Even though he was the best in healing arts, he could not heal his wounds and eventually gave up on his immortality. Chiron agonized with the incurable wound but his torment did not end there, he begged Hades to welcome him into his kingdom.

After going to the underworld, Chiron was honoured by the gods by having his portrait carved in the skies,          THE CONSTELLATION OF SAGITTARIUS.

And that was all for this blog, guys. I hope you all enjoyed it. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment down. And thank you for reading this far….
