 The sci fi genre involves astronomy, fantasy, science, time travel and much much more. Reading a sci fi book can be a very interesting and different experience but like always we never are sure what might be the best one to pick up. So here is a list of the best sci fi novels of all time…

• The Book of the New Sun.

A great book series by Author Gene Wolfe. It is a four volume science fantasy novel written in years 1980 - 1983. 

• The Foundation Trilogy. 

This novel series has been a source of inspiration for many in the science fiction genre written by Isaac Asimov. It takes you way into the future where nothing is impossible and everyone is limitless.

• The Stars My Destination

A future world where people protect themselves from the radioactive hit men. A nerve wrecking novel  written by Alfred Bester.

• The Forever War

A series novel by Joe Haldeman based on a alien that seems to have a hostile situation.

• The Left Hand of Darkness.

A sci fi book that deals with gender issues and identity by Ursula K. Le Guin. There are gender less characters in the world created by the author. It is really a book that is guaranteed to give you goosebumps.

• Frankenstein

This revolves around the tragic story of Victor Frankenstein. Robert walton narrates every little detail about Victors life. It is written by Mary Shelly. 

• The Time Machine

The bizarre idea of time travel and time machines of this book is a great experience for many while growing up. The time traveler travels in different time periods from 802,701 AD to thirty million years ahead in the future.

• Necromancer.

A book set in the future about a cowboy turned into a cyberpunk. It shows various ways to move through the cyber space. It is written by William Gibson. 

• Dune

Obviously, everyone would know about this after watching the controversially best movie of 2021, Dune. It is set 20,000 years ahead in the future with extreme shocking twists rhat leaves everyone in suspense.
