It is leads and decided  the family respect and priority in the society.India reports the highest total number of dowry deaths with 8,391 such deaths reported in 2010, meaning there are 1.4 deaths per 100,000 women. Female dowry deaths account for 40 to 50 percent of all female homicides recorded annually in India, representing a stable trend over the period 1999 to 2016. Adjusted for population, Pakistan, with 2,000 reported such deaths per year, has the highest rate of dowry death at 2.45 per 100,000 women.Come let's go to the story

In Kerala Kollam district their one family lived very happily. They had two children and the younger one is vismaya. Vismaya had one brother. She is an ayurvedic doctor. She is 23 years old girl. At the final year of her studies her parents are in search of alliances for vismaya. They found Kiran Kumar  at an matrimonial site. He is an vehicle inspector. After that they got married on may 31,2020 in the season of corona. Vismaya's parents gave l00 sovereign gold ,Toyota Yaris car and one and half echars of land as dowry to vismaya. 
When the nineth day of after marriage the violence get started against vismaya. Kiran Kumar was torchuring vismaya for dowry. He always says that it's not enough for our status. So I want 10lakhs more and he  has not satisfied with the car. So he use bad word and shouted towards vismaya. She had got broken and told all these matters to her family. But it's all vein. 
After that vismaya went to her house from Kiran's house. So that day night Kiran had alcoholic and came to vismaya's house. Infront of her parents he hit vismaya badly. So they didn't allow vismaya to go Kiran's house.

She had an final exam in the college.so she goes to attend the exam . When Kiran heared he also went to met her. Kiran compromise her and pick up her to his house. After that he started domestic violence aginst to vismaya. So vismaya got afraid and call her parents to save her. But Kiran noticed it and broke the mobile and told her that she didn't call anyone. So she take photos of injuries in her body and send voice messages to cousin sister . There is no response. Vismaya got frustrated and committed suicide on June 21,2021 in bathroom on Kiran's house. So they took her to hospital. On that day  vismaya's parents got a call from Kiran's house. They told that they are admitted vismaya in hospital. So vismaya's parents went to hospital and heared an  shocking news that was vismaya's death. They told that she attempted an suicide. But vismaya's father not believe it. He had a doubt because  vismaya is an medical student and she knows the value of life told by her father. Then they file an case against Kiran Kumar.

But they didn't able to file FIR because of Kiran's influence. At that time her Cousin sister and her friends collect her calls recorded audios and messages and photos of violences and put it on their social media pages and they got viral. The police also got the solid evidence against Kiran. On may 23,2022 police arrest Kiran for driving Vismaya way to suicide. The court had give statement that this is an murder. Kiran had suspended from the job for next 10 years.

It's the big issue which spoken and get shocked in Kerala. But the truth is the violence of dowry is not quit. It is continuing. If the bridegroom didn't wnht dowry but the parents of bride gave them because of their family status.
