Many of you might have started to think that what is the big deal with this blog's topic??? What she meant by this???

So… don't worry guys your wait is finally over.. Today I am gonna talk about one of my favorite book series which is now, luckily, adapted into a Netflix series…🤩🤩yippee!!!!!👏👏👏

The name of that book is “SHADOW AND BONES” which is the first book in the Shadow and bone trilogy, followed by Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising..📚📚And it is an adult fantasy adventure novel written by LEIGH BARDUGO..

I am sharing you a brief story or more likely u can say, a summary, of this wonderful novel.. This novel is narrated by its main character and is about the journey of Alina Starkov as a Sun Summoner🌞🌞, and her encounters with evil Darkling, who has the power to summon darkness🌪🌪.

 When the novel begins, Alina is a soldier in a surveying unit, having grown up as an orphan with her bestfriend ,Mal, who works as a military tracker. Alina is on a voyage to West Ravka from Ravka, across the Shadow Fold or a mass of darkness hovering over the land. In that fold some monsters known as, Volcra, attack Alina and her fleet. During the fight Alina is wounded, and she emits blinding white light, scaring away the Volcra. She is taken to the Darkling, the second most powerful man in the kingdom, second only to the king, who realizes that she is a Sun Summoner. He has her trained, hoping she will be the one to do away with the Shadow Fold. He then sends Mal  to track down a herd of powerful deer in order to retrieve stag antlers. The Darkling plans on making a necklace from the stag antler's to amplify Alina's power but not for the benefit of others. 

He plans to use those powers to control the Fold ,not destroy it, and use it against his enemies. Alina and Mal after realizing his agenda , attempts to find stag on their own so that Alina can have enough powers to stand up against Darkling. But at the last moment Darkling  kills the stag and started to control her powers. She regains her power because she realizes she can exercise the power of mercy to save Mal  as in real the stag choses her ,not Darkling. Alina and Mal then escape the Fold, leaving Darkling behind  with Volcras..

This is the brief summary of my one of the favorite fantasy book.. I really hope u all enjoy it…and if u r not a reader then please watch this series instead. I know u won't regret it.. And if you are a reader then enjoy this book📔 with a warm cup of tea☕..
