As it is my first article, I want to to go with things that people are most likely to be attracted. Talking about pets to fall in this category. So, let me share my knowledge about the dog breeds which are popular by their heights.

Great Dane:

It is also called the German mastiff. It is a breed from Germany. It is known to be a hunting dog from middle ages. It's  other names are German boarhound, Deutsche dogge. It is nicknamed as Apollo of dogs the dogs of this breed grow to a height of around 80-90cms and bitches upto 72-84cms. They weigh around 50-82kgs and have a life span of around 8-10 years.

English Mastiff:

It is generally referred to as Mastiff by kennel clubs. These are the descendants from around and Pugnaces Britanniae. It is classified by its Massive head, short cout and always display a black mask. They are gentle and loving nature. It is a native of England. The Dogs weigh around 73-104kgs amd grow upto 76cms. The bitches weigh 54-77kgs and grow upto 70cms. It is presumed to be the Noble of Dog family.

Newfoundland:

It is a large working dog. They are seen with colours like black, brown, grey and white. Only black and landseer coloured dogs were considered to be the members of this breed. Later the other colours were also considered to be from the same breed. They are basically bred and used by fishermen of newfoundland. These dogs are giant size with  tremendous strength, calm disposition, intelligence and loyal. These dogs are expert in water rescue and life saving activities as they have double coat, with the muscular build strong body. They have very good swimming abilities. The dogs of this breed grow up to a height of 28 inches and bitches up to 66 that is 26 inches and the dog's weigh around 65 to 80 kgs and bitches weigh upto 55 to 65 kgs.

Irish wolfhound:

This is a dog breed from Ireland. It is a historic sighthound. This dog was famed as the guardian dog. It is specialised in protection against and for the hunting of wolfs. The dogs of this breed grows up to a height of 81-86cms and Bitches weigh upto 71cms they weigh 54kgs minimum and which is of this breed weigh minimum of 40.5 kgs. They have a double coat straight and hard coat. The dogs of this breed are seen with colours of of grey, brindle, red, black, white and fawn wheathen.
