Once a pet is home, they are precious to us and now are a part of our families and lives so taking care of them becomes essential .Most people want to adopt pets but take a step back as they are unaware of the requirements of their pets .So here I am discussing the basics of taking care of pets according to their needs .

♤♡>ADOPT PETS ACCORDING TO YOUR LIFESTYLE,  like if u have very busy schedule we should not adopt a dog as dogs need lot of time unlike fish and turtles.

Secondly ♤♡>LEARN ABOUT THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF YOUR PETS .

FEED YOUR PET WITH BEST QUALITY FOOD  WHICH CONTAINS NATUARAL  OMEGA3 AND OMEGA 6 AND FATTY ACIDS

WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CERTAIN FOODS WHICH ARE BAD FOR PETS HEALTH LIKE ALCOHOL ,EXCESS SUGAR ,CERTAIN FRUITS AND VEGES .

WATER IS NOT ONLY ESSENTIAL FOR HUMANS BUT ALSO ANIMALS .FEEDING THEM WITH WATER AT REGULAR INTERVALS ,CHANGING WATER TWICE A DAY FOR DOGS AND CATS ,CHANGING AND CLEANING WATER FOR FISH AND TURTLES ONCE A WEEK .IF PETS ARE REFUSING FOR WATER ,ADD ELECTROLYTES AND FLAVOURS TO WATER ,EXAMPLE IF DOGS REFUSE WATER FEED THEM WITH CHICKEN AND BEEF BROTHS AND THEN GRADUALLY ADD WATER TO MAKE THEM USED TO WATER .

PROVIDING PETS WITH APT SHELTER AND LOCATION IS ALSO ESSENTIAL .LIKE CERTAIN DOG BREEDS CANT SURVIVE HOT WHEATHER SO WE SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE KEPT INDOORS WITH COLD ENVIROMENT .IF YOUR PETS STAY OUTDOORS THEN LOOK AFTER THE SEASONAL NEEDS OF SHELTER LIKE IF ITS RAINING OUTSIDE MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM INDOORS .PROVIDE THEM WITH A CLEAN AND HYGENIC PLACE TO SLEEP TO AVOID FUNGAL BACTERIAL INFECTIONS AND OTHER DISEASES .

HAVING A HELP OF A GENERAL VET IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT. WE SHOULD TAKE THEM FOR REGULAR CHECKUPS TO A VET .ALSO SHOULD TAKE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOOD ALLERGIES AND DENTAL CARE FROM THE VET.AS FOOD ALLERGIES VARY BREED TO BREED AND PET TO PET KNOWING ABOUT THEM IS VERY IMPORTANT. WE SHOULD MAKE A NOTE OF THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCES .LIKE I HAVE MADE A NOTE OF THE FOOD ALLERGIES FOR MY GOLDEN RETRIEVER AND PUT THEM ON MY FRIDGE AS A NOTE SO THAT I NEVER FORGET ABOUT THEM WHILE SERVING HIM FOOD .DONT MISS OUT ON DENTAL CARE OF YOUR PET ,CONSULT VET FOR THE SAME ALWAYS AND BRUSH YOUR PETS TEETH ATLEAST TWICE A WEEK .

GROOMING IS THE INTEGRAL PART OF PET CARE .USING A RIGHT SHAMPOO,COMBING YOUR FURRY FRIWNDS EACH DAY ,CLEANING EAR NOSE MOUTH ALWAYS .CUT HAIR AND NAILS TO PREVENT DEBRIS AND FUNGAL BACTERIAL INFECTIONS 

EXCERCISE IS THE HEART OF PET CARE .TAKING YOUR PETS FOR HIKING,WALKING,PLAYING WITH THEM IS ESSENTIAL. EVERYDAY 15 TO 20 MINS WALK IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANY PET .EXCERCISE MAKES PET FEEL LOVED AS WE TEND TO SPEND TIME WITH THEM WHILE TAKING THEM FOR WALKS OR HIKING ETC .ALSO THEY FEEL SATISFIED AND FIT .

THIRDLY ♤♡>LOVE AND AFFECTION 

Getting a pet home and taking care of all the above pet care needs is not enough. Pets need your constant love and attention ,they are like a child in a family and should be treated with kindness .Abusing  hitting  ,harsh punishments should be avoided .Train them with kindness and love and patience .Giving them hugs and kisses when back from work .Getting them toys and treats .Offering treats when they do something good .rewarding them for peeing and pooping outside the house .All this makes them feel loved and affectionate towards the family .putting them in a loving and happy boarding facility  when we are travelling somewhere is also a way of showing love towards them .lastly teach all others around us like our family and friends and also the children of the family to interact and treat them in a proper way is also important, if they are not being treated well by other family members or visitors they tend to feel low and unloved .😍😊

In short create a Happy and healthy environment for them.

Fourthly♤♡>VACCINATIONS

LIKE A CHILD pets also need vaccinations to prevent certain life risking diseases .Knowledge about the vaccinations and when to give those is essential .A vet can be the best guide for this. Vaccinations vary breedwise and petwise .IF Pets are not vaccinated timely they can transmit diseases to humans also. 

Fifthly ♤♡> COMPANION 

Providing them with proper companions ,taking them to dog parks ,taking them to dog pools ,training them to be social are all the ways you can get them with proper companions. Taking advises from vets for a proper time to get them a companion and learning the post effects of mating are all the important aspects to be taken care of .

So this is all about taking care of your constant companion and selfless love giver.
