There is something very unique happening in South Korea. The youth are carrying on a ‘ No -Marriage’ movement.
In south Korea , the society is conservative and the women are considered to be the sole care giver of the children. Now when they had to work no women could actually manage both household and work. And nothing was done to help them out. So South Korean women chose career over children.

4 years later the number dropped to -257,600 (2018)
Many women were getting married but not having babies. So they were called Be-hon. Erlier it was not considered normal but now in South Korea it is taken as normal.

The fertility rate in Hong kong is also very low. It is been predicted that by the time it is 2041, one third of the women ofhong kong will not have married by the end of their age of child-birth.

What is the role of the government throughout the world
Recently the government is encouraging young couples to opt for more babies, dating and making families.
But what needs to be understood is that, all the governments need to find some family friendly policies, making childcare affordable, making more flexible working shifts for women ,introducing better state run schools and also enhancing maternity and paternity leaves.
