Once upon a time in a small village town there lived a little girl named Reena with her parents. She had a beautiful garden in her backyard where she used to spend most of her time after her school. She had a bunch of roses of all colours and variety of plants in her garden. One day, she got a tiny little curry leaves plant from Conserve Forest Club. The main aim of the club was to conserve and restore forest by planting more than billion of trees in various strategic location around the world. She was very happy to take the little plant to her home. As there was no place in the backyard she placed the plant in the middle of roses. She used to water and talk to them every day with love.  Days passed by, little yellow rose was not so happy to be in the middle of curry leaves. Cute rose was always proud of its beauty. It was really disappointed to be in the middle of curry leaves. Every day, it used to tease the way the curry leaves about its looks, but in turn the tiny little plant was calm and silent. Other plants tried to stop the rose from teasing the curry leaves, but the rose did not listen to any one. It may sound weird to see plants talking to each other but sometimes it happens just as we use French, Hindi to communicate with each other.  One day, while Reena was watering the plants she was shocked to see curry leaves dried up and worried.

“Oh, my god what is wrong with you my little one” Reena asked

“When the curry is served, the first thing you do is remove me from your plate! Nobody cares to comment anything about my taste on the curry you people seem to be busy about discussing  the amount of salt, pepper and other masala added to the curry that enhance the taste. You add me to get a flavour at the end of the preparation of any curry. The medicinal values present in my leaves helps to reduce cholesterol if added in your daily food. Well, I guess u people don’t like consuming medicine daily right!? :)” said the curry leaves.

“You have to believe in yourself when nobody does” said Reena

The pretty little rose felt sorry and realised its mistake and they become friends forever
