Hello everyone! In this blog is about fish…..

Fishes are among the most common sources of protein-rich foods around the world. They are known to provide high levels of omega-3 fats, selenium, vitamin D, and calcium. This makes them a healthy option for people who are interested in maintaining their diet yet still want the benefits of eating seafood.

But not all fish are created equal. There are several types of fish that are considered healthier than others. Here we’ll look at what you need to know about the best choices for your family’s overall wellness.

Salmon & sardines are good for your heart. They have high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce triglycerides and bad cholesterol (LDL). Omega-3's are good for your heart because they help reduce inflammation and lower blood pressure. Studies have shown that people who eat salmon several times a week reduced their risk for coronary artery disease by 50 percent.

Tuna fish has the highest level of mercury of any other type of seafood. But it doesn't need to worry, tuna is low in fat and full of lean protein and great sources of vitamin B12, A and D.

Tilapia is known as a super food because it is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, zinc, copper, selenium, manganese, vitamins A, C, E, K and niacin. These minerals are necessary for strong bones, healthy joints, a healthy immune system, proper muscle function, healthy skin and hair and strong teeth.

Catfish contains large amounts of protein and is high in Selenium, Vitamins A and D, Zinc, Calcium and Iron. This makes catfish a great source of nutrition for pregnant women, children and athletes.

Shrimp is loaded with Vitamin B12 and iron, both of which are needed for red blood cells. It's also rich in zinc, which is critical in building healthy nails and teeth.

Cod is high in Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D, and iodine. These minerals are essential for thyroid function, which helps regulate hormones like estrogen.

Halibut contains lots of Vitamin B12. Our body needs this vitamin to keep the nervous system healthy and function normally. Its consumption has been linked to reduce the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. It is especially recommended for those who suffer from mental disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.

Mackerel is  small oily fish are loaded with healthy fats, including Omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. They're also a great source of protein, containing nearly 40 percent more than cod. Plus they contain some fantastic antioxidants like selenium and magnesium.

Thank you…..
