Hello everyone! In this blog is about pedicure and manicure…
1.pedicure :
Cleaning your feet:
This step should happen every day in order to keep the skin healthy and prevent bacteria from developing. There are various ways to clean your feet, but I'll show you what works best for me. First of all, soak your feet in warm water overnight and then wash them thoroughly in the morning. After that use some foot scrubbing soap to exfoliate the dead cells off your feet. Rinse well after using the product. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to avoid these products.
Use a file:
Now that your foot is clean, use a file to remove rough edges of nailbeds and cuticles. File down rough areas where cuticles are split or separated from the nail.
Soaking the feet in saltwater:
Saltwater has been proven to help moisturize your feet while giving them a natural glow. It's a great way to relax before bedtime, too! You can buy this kind of salt in any supermarket. Simply add about 2-3 tablespoons of sea salt into a basin filled halfway with warm water. Let your feet soak in the salty water for 20 minutes.
Exfoliate your big toe with a pumice stone:
Hold the pumice stone against your big toe at a 45 degree angle. Gently rub back and forth until the skin is smooth.
Using a foot mask:
Mix coconut oil and honey together and apply to my dry feet. Then I let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This masks the roughness of my feet while leaving a beautiful shine.
Apply almond oil:
Apply almond oil to your foot , then massage them vigorously. Do not use coconut oil, as this may leave your nails brittle. After washing your foot, apply a coat of foot lotion.
Manicure :
Step 1 – prep the area you are going to work on. In this case, I used a toothbrush dipped into acetone (nail polish remover) and just rubbed around my cuticles. You can use any product that has good grease removing capabilities like olive oil or coconut oil.
Step 2 – using your favorite nail tool, file down the rough edges of your cuticle, making sure to avoid hitting the quick (the soft flesh between your finger and thumb). This will help prevent ingrown hairs and other nasty things from happening.
Step 3 – cleanse your nails thoroughly. Using cotton balls soaked in either rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based hand sanitizer, gently massage over each nail. Don’t worry about doing it perfectly; over time we learn how to do something better!
Step 4 – apply moisturizer. On days where I am not manicuring my nails, I always moisturize them after showering.By keeping my hands warm and dry, I know they will come out looking great.
Step 5 – apply your chosen base coat. There are many types of bases but I personally prefer gel based ones because they last longer, provide excellent coverage, and never crack or chip.
Step 6 – apply your chosen topcoat. Topcoats seal everything in and make it hard for anything to penetrate the nail bed. They protect your nails, too, providing long lasting shine and durability.
Thank you…
