Woke up early in the morning, it was four o'clock. It was too cold, I didn't feel like taking a bath. But today was a school trip, so I was ready to take a quick shower. Last evening only I had prepared a big army bag. Papa was in the scouts, so he had a capping tent, so I folded it and kept it.
We had the opportunity of capping in the hills of Manali for five days and four nights. Reached school by half past six. We were fifty-five children - thirty boys and twenty-five girls. Rathore sir, Sanjeev sir, and Neelam ma'am, Rakhi ma'am was there to take care of all of us.
We went to Jaipur airport and then reached Dehradun by flight. From there left for Manali on a bus. There was a smile on everyone's face. We had to stay in a hotel near a hill outside Manali, with two children in each room. I and Kapil got a wonderful room.
The view outside the window was beautiful. At five o'clock in the evening, everyone was ready with their belongings. We left the hotel and separated from the road and walked on a footpath.
It was getting dark now. We walked for an hour, enjoying the valleys, and climbed a small hill.
At the very top of the hill there was a cave and in front of it was flat ground. We kept the goods in the cave and after collecting dry wood, we lit the fire. We brought packed food from the hotel, heated it, and ate it fully. The next day we went after that small hill.
There was a beautiful waterfall flowing. Then we all started climbing another hill. Both Rathore sir and Sanjeev sir had a gun each. They knew that there could be wild animals here. Next - Sir, after that girls, then ma'am, and then we boys. Suddenly his feet stopped.
Everything came to a complete standstill and the sir signaled to keep quiet. There was a waterfall on our right side. A pair of lions and their three children were sitting under the waterfall. Then two more children came from inside the waterfall. After that, we went upstairs.
The whole view was clearly visible from here. The city of Manali behind and the range of hills in front and the forest itself. Sanjeev sir took out the map and pointed towards a hill. He said that there are many caves and there are very good artifacts in them. We went that side. She was not far away.
We took a ticket to visit the caves. There were two caves to go inside, we went to the first one. Saw many sculptures there, and very beautiful pictures were made on the walls. We went towards the inside of the caves, where now the light had dimmed.
