How Can We Return The Beauty Of Nature What Is The Significance Of The Dashlakshana Festival?

Two types of festivals have been described in the scriptures, the first is immediate, and the second is trikalik.  The second festival is related to a particular person or event, while the Trikalik eternal festival is neither related to any particular person nor to any particular event, but they are related to spiritual feelings.

The Dashlakshana festival is the Trikalik eternal festival.  It is a festival that started with the upliftment of nature.  It has also been said in religious scriptures and as we are seeing from time immemorial, the people living in nature and earth gradually perish.  Then all of them rise again.

Behind the rise and fall is the increasing amount of sin in the world.  We are also now seeing how the qualities of happiness, peace, forgiveness, etc. are decreasing from within the human being.  According to religion, all this happens due to the change in the Avarspini and Utsarpini periods.

The period in which happiness, age, astringency, etc. is less, is called the Avsarpini period, and in which it increases, is called the Utsarpini period.  The transition period between these two is 96 days.  This is the main period of creation and destruction of the universe.  There are seven types of rain for seven days, including the rain of poison, cold water, smoke, dust, stone, fire, etc.

As a result of this, the whole earth is destroyed, and beauty is gone.  After this, there is a rain of soft water, nectar, ghee, divine juice, milk, etc. for seven days after returning to the natural beauty.  Due to this, the earth becomes green and a wave of happiness runs all around.  In this way, there is rain for 49 days and there is rain for 49 days.

The 49-day-long Suvrushti begins on the Ekadashi of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Shravan and continues till the Chaturthi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadrapada.  The few pairs of human beings and Tiryancha, Devas, and Vidyadhars who were hidden in the cave of Mount Vijayartha are removed before the bad rain.  These couples celebrate 10 days from Bhadrapada Shukla Panchami.  Today it is celebrated as the Dashlakshana festival.

According to religion, it is clear from this story that this festival is actually celebrated for the joy of the return of the beauty of nature.  There is a festival to go to.  The people who survived this destruction were rejoicing to see how nature has returned to its beauty.

We are getting to see this.  It is possible that they must have worshiped God, they must have resolved that now we will not harm nature and its people in any way.  The result of this resolution must have been that now we will follow the best forgiveness, best mortification, perfect aarjava, perfect toilet, perfect truth, perfect restraint, perfect austerity, and perfect renunciation, which save humanity.
